Updates on the Advanced
CE Training
Training schedule:
The training will be lasting eight days, 3 hours each day, with a 15’ break and
a 15’ devotion led by Marlene. The first
three days Lise will be the facilitator with Marlene helping in devotion. The
US team will join in on Monday 20th, Lise has confirmed 10
participants (she will have to remind them). Lise has developed a trainer’s
Manual and the participant’s handbook. She is making the final edits to the
books.
Objectives:
participants to have a marketing plan whatever the stage of their business is.
The US team will help in bringing in a new and broader perspective to the
subject.
Logistics: are to
be bought today Monday 13th, Jamie will bring the chairs to be used
for the training tomorrow 14th , and get another chair from DuHope. Mpinga
or Rachel can help in buying the needed materials since there isn’t a lot going
on at DuHope.
Devotion: Marlene
gave a summary of what will be covered in the devotion. Since Belay’s vision is
to train kingdom entrepreneurs, the curriculum developed for the devotion will
be revolving around the topic of the kingdom of God. The purpose will be to answer
questions like: what is the kingdom of God? How do we enter into it? what do
people wear in that kingdom? How can we be kingdom entrepreneurs?
Focus group: get
people to come and give feedbacks on our participants’ products. That will be
on Tuesday 21st. Lise is to send an email to the team to get their
advice on who can be part of the focus group after knowing the participants’
products. Members of the team can also participate. Lise to organize how that
day will look like.
NB! The staffs
are to be cautious to no interrupt or distract the training (it will be taking
place in the big room), if possible leave the office by 3:30 since the training
will be starting at 4pm.
