Staff meeting notes

Department	Updates
Duhu	·         Lise met with Chad and Maurice and Chad gave us an assignment to study more about the investment requirements. We have started working on that assignment and we’ll continue next week ·         We had a meeting with Belay team that aimed at looking on the what we need to be doing locally for DuHope to reopen we were able to identify what everyone needs to do in the near future. ·         I have shared the DuHope business plan and have been updating it according to their inputs. ·         Gabie handed over the salesforce work, I took a look on it but haven’t yet started to work on it.
DuHope	·         Rachel is working for on the soap for Inzora and Jlynn’s ·         Mpinga, Marlene, Maurice and Jamie will talk to the women about the work schedule ·         Mpinga will take over the shop social media while Betsie is gone ·         Betsie made new color samples for leaf earrings. Mpinga will work on figuring out when the women will come to learn to make these new designs
Financial administration	·         Last week Maurice worked on the actuals of May, they will be submitted this week ·         With Mpinga, they did the Budget for June ·         Maurice followed up on the airtime but they are not available yet. He will continue to check on that this coming week ·         He did the payee taxes ·         We had a meeting with Chad ·         Rectified the DuHope RDB certificate and this week they will go pick the new copy. ·         He will work on the USD account balance ·         He is working on the P&L for Belay and DuHope
Communication and Spiritual integration	·         Started searching the curriculums for the literacy training, she is writing a letter to REB director but she was given a book that shows the methodology and the outline ·         She also went at edition Bakame to ask for books that can help the women, she is following up to see if there can be donations. ·         With Mpinga they did a budget for the Aspire training ·         From the meeting we had, they started working on the schedule of DuHope, Marlene is finalizing it. ·         We finished the summarized bible overview, we are starting a new study this week ·         They attended an event at Goethe institute: There is potential for partnership with DuHope ·         They also attended the AIC meeting that aimed at closing the AIC session and Gabie introduced Mpinga as the new DuHope representative ·         Aline went back to school, her problem was solved
