Staff meeting notes of December 30, 3016
Bible study with Nicene creed
This week we covered:
·         I believe that through Jesus all things were made
·         I believe that Jesus came to bring salvation to us: Rom3: 22-26:
·         I believe Jesus is from God the Father: Hebrews 1: 3. I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord: Jesus is God
After the Nicene creed we had a Thanksgiving time.
Meeting:
Highlights
1.       Duhu and finance should send their updates to be added in the board meeting.
2.       Brainstorming on what needs to be done for DuHope business to keep running. Some major feedbacks were:
·         We need investment
·         We need proper planning
·         Invest in women more in terms of education
3.       Each department (Duhu and DuHope) should send 5 key program successes:
4.       Each department needs to send 2 success stories or information that can be translated into stories as soon as possible
5.       The move went well, we are settled in the new office

Financial sustainability




$8100 in DuHope Sales for last 2016 Q4: Maurice doesn’t have the exact numbers yet but December figures  will be sent to Gabie today, December 30
 Raise $24,000 in fundraising : Jamie is not present to provide updates
· Improve finance management systems: working towards completing by January
Personal development





4 people are still in the leadership training
For the operations person: Jamie and Gabie are going to  try few new things this coming week.
Employee contracts will be communicated for everyone, we will have staff reviews end of Jan and contracts and job descriptions

Program model and Impact






Because it is the end of the year, there are no updates about us being on the exemption list, we will keep contacting them after the holidays.
 The curriculum will be sent today 30th

The operations manual will also include ways to find financing for DuHope
